Celebrate Moet’s “Your Voices” sculpture in NYC with Mariah Carey, Jessica Chastain, and others.

In New York City, the holiday season has officially begun. Everyone can sense the magic in the air now that the wreaths are up and the shop windows along 5th Avenue are decorated for the season.

With good cause, New York is romanticised to an extreme. The holiday season here has a way of engulfing you and reminding you of your childhood, when it seemed like anything was possible. Similar to how Mot understands the significance of the Christmas season more than most, each glass of the company’s well-known champagne seems like a holiday in itself.
That was never more apparent than at Mot’s annual holiday party, which was held at Lincoln Center to coincide with the unveiling of an illuminated kinetic sculpture by British artist Es Devlin. The spectacular performance, titled “Your Voices,” made everyone in the audience believe in magic.
After arriving and admiring the magnificent new sculpture, guests were led into the theatre to toast the holiday season with friends and some of the most well-known figures in art and culture.
One could literally see the holiday glitter and feel the excitement of the season everywhere they turned. The atmosphere was electrifying, with stars like Sienna Miller and Jessica Chastain catching up over champagne and Trevor Noah joking about with a giddy fan.

From atop a massive champagne-glass pyramid, world-famous DJ Vashtie Kola supplied the musical soundtrack as the partygoers danced and drank without realising what was in store.

The “Your Voices” sculpture served as the inspiration for the Mot & Chandon Toast for a Cause programme, which was presented that evening in collaboration with the Endangered Language Alliance.
Chastain was spotted on the red carpet. The well-known actress was thrilled to be supporting such a wonderful cause and was dressed in Prabal Gurung, who was also present.

I had no clue that there were 700 different languages spoken in New York City, remarked Chastain. “I discovered that [Mot] is making a donation tonight to the Endangered Language Alliance, which aids in preserving the languages that are in danger of extinction. I chose New York City as my home due of its openness and variety. I’m delighted to be here to help what is unquestionably the language-diversest region of the globe.
As the party went on, the topic of Chastain’s personal holiday customs and, of course, her preferred beverage, came up.

She said, “I have a cocktail with champagne. “It has become well known that I drink a glass of champagne with a dash of vodka whenever I appear on the Graham Norton Show. It’s incredible.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey will be performed at the Moet et Chandon end-of-year bash in 2022.
