The DC supervillain Harley Quinn will soon be voiced by actress Christina Ricci in the podcast series “Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind.”
In the upcoming podcast series “Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind,” actress Christina Ricci, who was most recently featured in the sci-fi action film “The Matrix Resurrections,” will voice the part of DC supervillain Harley Quinn.
The series narrates the tale from the viewpoint of the title character. Variety claims that Eli Horowitz created, wrote, and directed the podcast.
The written podcast will also include Billy Magnussen as The Joker in addition to Ricci, and Bruce Wayne will be voiced by Justin Hartley. The podcast has not yet been given a release date. Producers claim that in “Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind,” Harley will finally be in charge of her own tale rather than being seen through the prism of what The Joker has said.
Variety reports that Spotify will host the last episode of the podcast series. Spotify has begun producing audio programmes in collaboration with Warner Bros. and DC.
According to Variety, when we first meet Harley in the next series, she is Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a talented psychologist at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City who is dedicated to assist individuals that her colleagues have given up on.
But Harleen can’t afford to pay for her dad’s pricey life-saving surgery since he is ill. Therefore, Harleen makes a terrible choice to leverage her friendship with The Joker to gain what she wants, sending them both down a perilous road that will alter their lives forever. Patient J is a peculiar criminal who seems to have a mysterious influence over everyone except her.
Julie McNamara, Liz Gateley, and Rachel Wolf served as executive producers of “Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind” on Spotify. Realm is in charge of physical manufacturing. The series also features writing from Matthew Derby and Rachel Khong in addition to Horowitz.
