Numerous celebrities have worn Vivienne Westwood’s creations on the red carpet over the years because of how exceptional her corsetry is. Lalisa Manoban, aka Lisa, of Blackpink, is known for wearing provocative clothing, so it’s no surprise that she enjoys Westwood’s creations.
Lisa wore a corseted gown in ivory stretch satin from the designer’s made-to-order collection, which is only offered at boutiques in London, New York, and LA, to the Bulgari Avrora Awards, which were presented in Seoul, South Korea.
The dress has a fitted, built-in corseted bodice, and a floor-length skirt with drapes. Lisa added a diamond, ruby, and gold Bulgari Serpenti necklace to emphasise the neckline, and to contrast with the white wedding hue of the gown, she wore black platform sandals by Amina Muaddi.
Lisa’s rigorous schedule, which lately has included singing with Blackpink for the Born Pink world tour, was relieved by the awards event. The K-pop group has so far only performed in Seoul. After that, they will tour around Asia, Europe, and North America.
Naturally, Lisa has made her stage appearances into fashion moments and has sported clothing lines like Miss Sohee, David Koma, and Marine Serre. Her bandmates have also donned some bold styles. Expect many more in the future as Blackpink expands internationally.
