The festival is marketed and co-produced by international producers Perry Farrell and C3 Presents, which is owned by Live Nation, as well as Indian ticketing platform and entertainment firm BookMyShow. It will take place at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 28 and 29. The rock groups Greta Van Fleet and The Wombats, the singer and Got7 member Jackson Wang, the pop musicians Alec Benjamin, Chelsea Cutler, Japanese Breakfast, Raveena, the dream-pop group Cigarettes After Sex, and the electronic music producers Apashe, Diplo, Imanbek, Kasablanca, Madeon, and Zhu are among the other international acts performing at Lollapalooza India. Farrell’s Kind Heaven Orchestra would perform at the event as well, he confirmed to Forbes in September, despite it not being part of the official announcement.

One of the most streamed artists on Spotify and Apple Music in India is the Indo-Canadian rapper AP Dhillon. Other Indian acts on the bill include the heavyweight rappers Divine and Prateek Kuhad, the rock band The Yellow Diary, and the metal band Bloodywood, whose album Rakshak reached the top 100 of the Billboard Top Album Sales chart in March as a result of an international fan campaign.

Early bird tickets for Lollapalooza India’s event, which will feature performances by about 40 bands for a total audience of about 60,000 people, were sold out in less than 36 hours, a BookMyShow spokesman informed Billboard. Purchase tickets at lollaindia.com.
