Marvel made a number of significant announcements concerning the studios’ next projects during the D23 Expo 2022.
Marvel Studios announced several of their big projects at the D3 Expo 2022, including The Marvels, a film starring Brie Lason and Iman Vellani, Captain America: New World Order, and other titles. At the occasion, the teaser for the upcoming television programme Secret Invasion was also unveiled. Don Cheadle’s return to the role of Rodey in Amour Wars was also confirmed.
The Marvels cast, the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania cast, and other MCU celebrities were present during the event. The first glimpse of The Marvels, which picks up after Ms. Marvel’s post-credits scene, was one of the event’s most thrilling revelations. In the video, Captain Rambeau and Nick Fury were seen working as astronauts. Rambeau strikes a jump point perimeter as she gets close to it, turning into Ms. Marvel.

Amazing Four
The forthcoming Fantastic Four movie from Marvel Studios will be directed by WandaVision filmmaker Matt Shakman, who will make his MCU debut. At the occasion, no casting announcements for the movie were announced.
Superman: The New World Order
Anthony Mackie will reprise his role as Sam Wilson in Captain America: New World Order alongside Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres. Tim Blake Nelson, who previously played Dr. Samuel Sterns in The Incredible Hulk from 2008, is one of the new cast members.
Thunderbolts
It has finally been revealed who will be in the cast of Thunderbolts. David Harbour will play Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen will play Ghost, Julia Louis-Dreyfus will play Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Sebastian Stan will play Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell will play John Walker/US Agent, and Florence Pugh will return as Yelena Belova.
Wakanda Forever, from Black Panther
At the occasion, fresh footage from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was shown. According to reports, Queen Ramonda was seen speaking to the UN after T’Challa’s death about her attempt to take vibranium from Wakanda. Additionally, it included videos displaying the Dora Milaje’s strength.
Ironheart
New clips of Riri Williams were teased at the event, though the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer only gave us a brief peek of Ironheart.
Quantumania in Ant-Man and the Wasp
To discuss their new movie, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Jonathan Majors spoke at the D23 Expo. Paul reportedly added, “This is going to be unlike anything you’ve seen from us and not to mention that man,” referring to Majors, who plays Kang, when discussing the movie.
Additionally, new Loki Season 2 footage and the October premiere of Gael Garcia Bernal and Laura Donnelly’s Werewolf by Night’s trailers were both made public.
