Have you ever wanted your home to look like a celebrity’s? Well now you can tap into the “Interior Designer to the Stars”, Barrie Livingstone, curated collection for your own abode. Livingstone has opened up a new venture in Los Angeles called House Of Barrie.
The British-born Interior Designer has always been driven to create dream designs that fulfil his client’s wildest fantasies. Livingstone’s design projects span the globe, from Los Angeles to Dubai and Miami, to Malaysia, and now, Los Cabos, Mexico. This worldly passion has shaped the curated collection of House of Barrie.
Livingstone has worked on projects for hotels such as Intercontinental Hotel Group, Marriott, Southern Sun, and many others. His works are magnificent and one of a kind. He is also the designer of many quintessential architectural pieces, such as Cher’s iconic Malibu mansion.
On October 4th, the store hosted a grand opening that featured a star-studded red carpet walked by several familiar faces: Tara Reid (Actress American Pie), Samantha Mumba (Grammy-nominated singer), CJ Franco (F*Boy Island), Tom Sandoval (Vanderpump Rules), Tom Schwartz (Vanderpump Rules), Vik Sahay (Actor, Chuck), and Byron Mann (Actor, The Big Short). Guests were invited to explore the space and check out the latest designs.
Following the opening, guests were treated to hospitality at Schwartz and Sandy’s restaurant and lounge next door. The special drinks of the evening featured Santa Margherita Wines, including sparkling rosé and pinot grigio, along with mixology signature cocktails. Schwartz and Sandy’s was the perfect environment for guests to relax and unwind after traveling in for the grand opening.
Another notable guest at the event was the acclaimed producer of Back to Originals Kathleen Fanning Lojkovic. Barrie and Kathleen are currently collaborating and developing a TV show titled ‘Mr Livingstone I Presume?’ The show will follow Barrie around the world whilst he discovers unique architectural and conceptual hotels. The show will highlight his passion for the international lifestyle and he will unveil the local history and stories of these exceptional locations.
