Originating from the Eastside of Detroit, Big Kungfu is a versatile artist whose talents span across various aspects of the music industry. Adept in songwriting, engineering, mixing, and mastering his own music, he has also honed his skills in production. With an unwavering commitment to his craft, Big Kungfu manages to produce an astounding 10-20 songs daily.

Big Kungfu’s musical influences include Lil Durk, Hotboii, Vezzo Moneybagg, and Brent Fiyaz. He began taking rapping seriously at just 14 years old, releasing his first song and video, “FreeTwilley.” This marked a pivotal moment in his life, as he was forced to leave his mother’s home due to his involvement in street life. Despite this setback, Big Kungfu found employment at KFC and faced his first legal issue—a concealed carry weapons charge.

Undeterred by the obstacles in his path, Big Kungfu remained focused on his aspirations. At the age of 16, he started a copyrighted clothing line and graduated from high school with an impressive ranking in Michigan sports, particularly football. He was offered numerous Division 1 scholarships, but unfortunately lost them after an incident that led to his expulsion.

Big Kungfu’s unwavering determination pushed him to attend college for a short time, but he soon decided to dedicate himself entirely to his music career. Since then, he has been working tirelessly to build his brand and make a lasting impact on the music industry.

In summary, Big Kungfu’s inspiring journey from Detroit’s Eastside to the world of music demonstrates his incredible resilience and ambition. Overcoming countless challenges, he has emerged as a powerful force in the music scene, fueled by his talent and tenacity.
