Recently, court papers from Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation case were made public.
The defamation case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard came to an end in June, and the actor was found to be the winner. Even though the trial is over, there are still some shocking things that have been in the news because of it. Some interesting things were found in the pre-trial court documents that never made it into the case.
Entertainment Tonight says that Depp’s team tried to use naked pictures of Heard as evidence. Also, Heard’s team tried to say that Depp was taking medicine for erectile dysfunction and that there were damaging texts that couldn’t be shown in court. The high-profile trial went on for weeks, and everyone who had something to do with the case, including members of their family, gave testimony.

Heard’s team also says that Depp’s lawyers submitted a lot of photos and recordings as proof of the injuries he said he got and the verbal abuse he said he got. During the pre-trial hearings, it was also revealed that Depp’s lawyers said that Heard “wants a circus” and “clearly intends to take this trial down a number of unnecessary salacious rabbit holes,” especially when it comes to Depp’s medical history. Documents showed that Depp’s lawyers also tried to keep text messages between him and Marilyn Mason out of the case.
The 6,000 pages of pre-trial court documents are said to have shown these shocking facts. Recent news said that Amber Heard has filed for bankruptcy to avoid giving Johnny Depp the USD 10 million payout that was part of the verdict.
