The Don’t Worry Darling cast stuns everyone at the Venice Film Festival Photo Call with their throwback attire.
Since his eagerly awaited psychological drama Don’t Worry Darling is scheduled to make its world premiere at the Festival, fans were excited to see Harry Styles at this year’s Venice Film Festival. At the photo op and press briefing, the pop sensation was joined by Chris Pine and Gemma Chan from the cast, as well as Olivia Wilde, his director and off-screen partner. The movie’s leading lady, Florence Pugh, was reportedly engaged filming a Dune sequel in Budapest when she was supposed to be at the ceremony. The actress, who has just arrived in Venice and will probably walk the red carpet, will join the cast for the movie’s premiere. While it was previously reported that the actress had issue with the salary discrepancy between her and the male lead Styles’ income for the movie, there has been talk of animosity between Pugh and Wilde.
In addition to the pay parity rumours, sources have also spoken of Pugh’s animosity toward Styles and Wilde’s romance from the beginning of the movie. There have also been insiders who asserted that these rumours were unfounded. Additionally, the movie has recently received some negative news, with Shia LaBeouf coming out of hiding to denounce the director for allegedly firing the actor who was intended to play Styles’ replacement opposite Pugh.
LaBeouf made it clear that he had indeed resigned from the part.Styles, along with his co-stars Pine and Gemma, who chose gold wide-legged pants and a patterned blouse, made a statement at the press conference with their retro swagger. Olivia Wilde, a director, wore a vibrant green co-ord to the occasion while supporting her cast. Pugh, meanwhile, arrived at the Venice airport wearing only purple—shorts, a crop top, and a shirt.
