Lea Michele, a Glee actress, recently joined TikTok and jokes about the claims that she is illiterate in her most recent TikTok caption. Details are provided here.
Lea Michele, 36, a Golden Globe contender, just uploaded her second TikTok, and it’s already gone viral. Rightfully so, as the video appears to be a direct response to the comments on her last Tiktok, which repeatedly brought up the rumour that the actress is illiterate. Lea Michele demonstrates unequivocally that if you can’t stand up to the haters, join them. Calling her longtime best friend, Jonathan Groff, to read her the comments on her debut TikTok, the Funny Girl actress recorded a video of herself acting out her lines with a snarky commentary.

Remarks stated Michele is illiterate
Lea Michele’s debut Tiktok’s comment area was replete with arguments supporting an antiquated myth that she is illiterate. Some even went so far as to say that she wouldn’t even understand what the commentators were saying, which was exaggerating the humour. In her amusing debut Tikotok video, she lip syncs Kim Kardashian’s conversation. “Hey … It’s fantastic, but hold on, could you speak for a moment?” with the caption “lol.”
Prior until now, Michele has addressed the rumours.
In Funny Girl, the actress portrayed Fanny Brice. In a New York Times interview she shared, Lea Michele was questioned about these rumours.
“Every day I attended Glee, and I was familiar with my lines. Then there’s the online notion that I’m illiterate? That is sad. It is, in fact,” She continued, “I frequently think that a lot of this wouldn’t be the case if I were a man.
Lea Michele’s COVID-19 test result was positive.
Since Michele tested positive for COVID-19, her show Funny Girl has been temporarily cancelled. On September 11, 2022, she posted on her Instagram that she would be taking ten days off. According to the Instagram story,
“Unfortunately, my COVID test results are now officially positive. I am prohibited from going back to the theatre for ten days due to production rules. The fact that so many employees of our organisation chose to stay at home today and read this early shielded them from exposure.”
Actress finally signs up for TikTok
The actress ultimately creates a Tiktok account in her spare time. Her debut video was a recreation of Kim Kardashian’s line from a Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, “It’s fantastic but wait, can you talk for a sec?”
Where did the rumours about illiteracy come from?
Following the actress’ 40-minute video that Jaye Hunt and Robert Ackerman made for their podcast, One More Thing, bogus stories about her started to circulate in 2018. The claim that the actress is illiterate was untrue hearsay. Even that the actress couldn’t sign autographs was the subject of rumours. The fact that the actress was homeschooled may have fanned the flames.
Lea’s supporter Jameela said,
The actor Jameela Jamil commented on the “”I see a lot of people claiming a specific actress can’t read… and then laughing at her,” Lea Michelle wrote on Instagram in response to the “Lea Michelle is illiterate” myth. Whatever your problem is with this person, and I don’t know her or anything about her, but you seem like a jerk if you chuckle at the prospect of anyone not being able to read. An ableist elitist boring. You are the one who is ashamed, not them.” Together with a caption, “Don’t allow the fragments of your shots that were intended for someone hit someone else. Some people have learning difficulties that prevent them from reading, while others lack access to schooling. Both your words and deeds have an impact on people. Find a smarter way to insult the individuals you believe to be awful if you’re so fucking brilliant.”
